March is a month of big changes and massive energy shifts, with many of the planets, including Pluto and Saturn, moving into new signs.
This month can even be life-changing for some, with big chances to evolve into your highest potential and become the best you have ever been.
Pluto stays in a sign for anywhere between 12-30 years and has been visiting Capricorn since 2008. This has brought monumental reform to banking, governments, business corporations and society in general.
It is hoped his movement into Aquarius in March might herald a positive transformation in the collective consciousness, towards a more humanitarian, caring ethos, and we will certainly all feel the energy shifting. However, it will be gradual over many years.
Pluto will stay in Aquarius until June, when he retrogrades back over the final degrees of Capricorn, as he has done several times, going back into Aquarius in February 2024, then into Capricorn for a final time in September 2024. He moves into Aquarius to stay from December 2024, until 2044.
Saturn’s orbit is quicker, so he usually spends around 2 years in a sign. He was last in Pisces from early 1994-96, so look back to that time in your life for clues on what might need to be worked on.

March Gets Off to an Electric Start!
We begin the month of March in some lovely energy with Venus conjunct Jupiter in Aries, bringing welcome news and fresh hope. This is a lucky aspect too, so we might see new opportunities or exciting developments. Take a gamble!
Mercury is conjunct Saturn too, so we mean what we say right now. Our promises carry weight during this first week, so we might be having ‘the talk’ in relationships or business. We can make solid deals and take firm steps forward.
All planets are direct for the whole month, so we can safely pursue our hopes and dreams and make our mark on the world.
It is a time to rest and get ready, as we begin a new cosmic cycle in Aries, sign of the pioneer, warrior and go-getter. Be bold and a leader to get results, especially from the 20th onwards.
Healing Begins This Month
Aries is the star of the show in March, with Chiron conjunct Venus in Aries on the 3rd, bringing some healing energy.
This continues for the first half of the month, at least, with the epic Chiron and Jupiter conjunction taking place on the 12th.
These two don’t meet often, so this is a brilliant chance for compassion, unconditional love and forgiveness, and we should all be feeling better about ourselves too. March is a great month to work on forgiveness, love and relationships.
The Sun’s link to Uranus on the 6th shakes us out of a rut and gives us important breakthroughs and eureka moments.
Some might have exciting news to share. We should all be feeling more open to change and even a bit of rebellion. Slough off those winter blues!
Get Ready for Change at Full Moon
The 7th is the Virgo Full Moon, at 16 Virgo, bringing out our inner nerds and helping us to get that Spring cleaning underway. We will be focusing on closing old cycles and looking to the future.
The next day, the 8th brings us the monumental energy shift of Saturn leaving Aquarius, his home sign and where he has been comfortably staying for the last two years. Check your sign to find out what Saturn’s move into Pisces means for you.
Romantics can make headway on the 11th when Venus is sextile Mars, and Sun sextile Pluto in the days afterward helps us make good headway and focus like a laser beam.
Clear Communication is Needed Mid-Month
Around the 14th, we have a few busy days in store when Mars will square Neptune, Mercury and the Sun as he leaves his shadow period behind, (the ground he was retracing since last year). This helps us move on from any endings, disappointments and situations that have been dragging on.
We get to enter fresh territory and can now regain our sense of excitement and positivity. The square to Mars warns us to be clear, direct, and transparent with others, and ourselves, and to watch out for confusion, misplaced actions or self-doubt that could hold us back.
The Sun is conjunct Neptune and Mercury, so the days around the 15th-17th might feel intense, dreamy or idealistic, and it is a great time for creative pursuits, music, writing and spiritual growth. Just stay alert if you’re doing any deals.
Venus squaring Pluto and sextile Saturn at the same time suggests we may have to let go of the past to benefit most from this chance for growth and inspiration. It’s time to start your new story.
New and sincere agreements we make now can last and we might begin to see where we want to invest long-term for the best results.
Venus Moves into Taurus, Sun and Mercury Move into Aries
Venus moves into her home sign of Taurus on the 18th, bringing love and feelings of security to the forefront.
We might feel more indulgent for a while and enjoy treats and self-care activities like pampering ourselves, shopping or getting a makeover. Venus loves being at home in Taurus!
Sun and Mercury’s sextile to Pluto helps us find the right words and get clear on what we want on the 20th.
This might have felt like an epic week, so we may feel drained and exhausted, but the Sun and Mercury moving into Aries on the 20th gives us a blast of new energy to work with, and we might feel like we have got our mojo back.
Aries New Moon Brings Fresh Starts
The New Moon in Aries on the 21st and Spring Equinox, really gets the new astrological year started, and we are called to become leaders and visionaries in our own lives. Step up!
Venus conjunct North Node the same day is ideal for getting in touch with our true hearts’ desires and making decisions that can lead us towards our personal glory. It’s a time for honesty and sincerity, so make a plan and start taking action!
Aquarius gets rid of Saturn this month. However, on the 24th Pluto moves in, bringing them deep transformation. This is often heralded as the start of the Age of Aquarius, when humanity will undergo radical shifts.
On the 26th, Mercury conjunct Chiron and Jupiter is a great day for mending bridges and having healing conversations. This is an ideal time to have therapy or a chat with someone you can trust.
Mars Moves into Cancer
Mars moves into Cancer on the 27th until May 20th, and we might begin to tackle the spring cleaning, or just feel we need to get our home life in better order for the next few weeks.
We could be renovating, mending family rifts or making our foundation more stable. Mars isn’t all that happy in watery, soppy Cancer, so we might feel the energy as antsy or a restless need for change.
Thankfully, Cancer is Cardinal, which Mars can work with, so taking solid action might be the best plan, especially when Mars trines Saturn at the end of the month.
Try to manage any rough feelings with diplomacy and give yourself breaks if you are busy with projects.
We end March with Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus, so there can be surprises and lucky changes that help us see what we are truly worth.
It’s been a month of big changes, but we made it, and it’s time to move forward and make those long-term plans. But have a treat first!
Have a great month ahead!
