The perfect life for a Taurus man would be mind-numbingly dull to a Sagittarius woman. Likewise, the perfect life for a Sagittarius woman would be terribly frightening to a Taurus man.

There is nothing more important to him than security, and there is nothing more important to her than freedom.

He wants structure and routine, and she wants excitement and adventure. So how well-matched are they?

A Taurus man and Sagittarius woman combination have very low compatibility. This mismatched pair are very unlikely to get together in the first place.

If, by some chance, they do find themselves in a relationship, however, they will have already gotten through the biggest barriers to becoming a couple.

Both of these signs are upfront and open about who they are from the beginning, and there are very few surprises that pop up later.

For this reason, they will both know what they are getting into from the very start which will greatly increase their chances of staying together.

Taurus man, Sagittarius woman: Strongest points of compatibility

  • Honesty
  • Complementary abilities
  • Challenge for him
  • Stability for her
  • Lack of drama
  • A mutual decision to be together despite their differences

Important traits of a Taurus man in relation to a Sagittarius woman

Taurus Compatibility Chart and Zodiac Sign Percentages

A Taurus man does not vary from his routine…at all. If at all possible, he will work at the same job for his entire working career.

He goes to the same stores, the same restaurants, the same bars, the same gym, at the same time, every day, week, or month.

A Taurus man is the closest thing to a constant in this changing world.

At home, he has a favorite chair, where he watches the same television shows and movies over and over again.

A Taurus man’s idea of an adventure is trying a new grocery store, and that will be a major stretch for him.

It is probably good for him to be challenged and taken out of his comfort zone every now and then, but he will fight anyone who tries to push this on him tooth and nail.

Any woman who wants to be with him will need to accept this.

A Taurus man is notorious for his possessiveness when it comes to his partner, and there is nothing that will get him so angry as if he finds out she has been unfaithful to him.

Important traits of a Sagittarius woman in relation to a Taurus man

Sagittarius Compatibility Chart and Zodiac Sign Percentages

A Sagittarius woman is bold and adventurous. She likes to travel, and she hates to be stuck in one place for very long.

A Sagittarius woman is not hampered by tradition or by anyone’s expectations of her. She does what she wants when she wants.

There is a bit of flakiness to a Sagittarius woman. She rarely follows through with the things that she starts.

Whether she will show up for a date is a matter of random luck.

Everyone is her very best friend, but that does not mean she actually spends any time with them.

A Sagittarius woman will always say exactly what is on her mind, without paying attention to social niceties, or even common courtesy.

Even so, people rarely get mad at her. This is because she has a buoyant enthusiasm that makes it hard not to smile in her presence.

Taurus man, Sagittarius woman: Dating and early stages of the relationship

The chances of a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman finding each other attractive are extremely slim.

She will think of him as stodgy and dull, and he will find her flighty and irresponsible.

This will be even more unlikely because a Sagittarius woman rarely goes to the same places twice if she has any choice in the matter.

Even when it comes to work, she is drawn to jobs that allow her to be constantly on the move.

In contrast, he rarely goes anywhere new unless he is forced to. So, this means that they will only naturally meet once unless circumstances outside their control bring them together more often.

Still, stranger things than a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman getting together do happen, so there is a possibility that this pairing could happen, however unlikely that may be.

Taurus man, Sagittarius woman: Sexual compatibility

Should a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman find themselves in bed together, it will probably go well for the first or second time.

A Taurus man likes sex a lot, and he is good at it!

A Sagittarius woman is as adventurous in the bedroom as she is in every other aspect of her life, and this could add some passion to the life of a Taurus man.

The problem is that it will be hard for them to sustain interest in each other sexually over the long term.

As sensual as a Taurus man is, he is not one to experiment, nor does he care for much variety.

A Sagittarius woman is likely to get bored with him pretty quickly. Likewise, a Taurus man will find a Sagittarius woman exhausting over time.

Taurus man, Sagittarius woman: Marriage and family life

If somehow a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman do get together and stay together long enough to marry, they have the chance of making it work.

In many cases, this pair will not get off of the ground, so if it does, they will have already worked out some of the biggest problems between them.

Necessary adjustments

Even so, it will be a hard adjustment for both of them, and they will have to accept that they will not be able to spend all of their time together.

Specifically, he will have to be comfortable with her going out by herself a lot!

He will have to go out a lot more than he would like, and she will have to stay home much more than she would prefer.

Even so, there will be a limit to how many adventures he can have and to how much she can sit in front of the television with him.

There will be no way around her needing freedom to go out by herself without him.

While a Sagittarius woman is not known for fidelity, she is not one to sneak around or have affairs.

If she had her way, they would have an open relationship where they would both be free to see others if they would like.

This arrangement would never fly with a Taurus man, however. If she wants to stay with a Taurus man, she must be faithful to him.

By the same token, he will need to curtail his tendency towards being possessive and trust her by herself.

There is nothing that will make a Sagittarius woman feel more confined than if he is constantly checking up on her and wanting her to account for her whereabouts.

Despite her apparent flightiness, a Sagittarius woman is trustworthy.

Indeed, a Sagittarius woman is generally incapable of lying even if she wants to.

If a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman have children, they will really need to communicate and negotiate if they are going to be successful co-parenting together.

They have very different attitudes and beliefs which could be very confusing to their children.

It is likely that there will be a role reversal as parents.

A Taurus man will be a lot more “maternal” than a Sagittarius woman will be.

She will be a fun and entertaining mother, though, and the children will be the envy of their friends because of it.

Taurus man, Sagittarius woman: Working together

A Taurus man and Sagittarius woman do not think alike.

She will be long on ideas and short on follow through. He will not be interested in ideas at all, and will just do his work the way he has always done it.

She will want to innovate and incorporate new technology, and he will have nothing of it.

If they absolutely must work together, it is best for them to each do their own thing without interfering with each other.

Typical fights between a Taurus man and a Sagittarius woman and how to resolve them

A Taurus man and Sagittarius woman will not fight with each other, per se. Neither of them is very argumentative.

They are very likely to drift apart, however, abandoning the relationship altogether.

More accurately, she is likely to up and leave, and if she does, he will not follow her to get her back.

If their relationship is not to end in this manner, they will have to love each other enough to meet each other half-way or more.

The issues between them will always be the same. These issues are: security vs. freedom; routine vs. novelty; going out vs. staying home.

It will have to be a conscious effort for them, and they both have to be willing to step far outside of their comfort zones.

A Taurus man and Sagittarius woman is an unlikely couple, but not an impossible one.

Love can bring many people together, even those who are otherwise incompatible.

In the case of a Taurus man and Sagittarius woman, they will have to challenge and stretch each other if they are to be able to find common ground.

If they do that, though, they will have laid the foundations for a healthy relationship.

I'm a 69 year old Sagittarius still in the honeymoon phase of our relationship. He's more social than me and if anyone is happy being at home it's myself. We have so many in common behaviors and expectations, it is like two peas in a pod. I feel fortunate that he wants me by his side and I absolutely do not enjoy the female get togethers without him. Sex is wonderful and he his always working to please me like I please him. He's romantic and sensitive. I almost said no to dating him because I was tired of cheaters plus I kept reading how uncompatible we are but I'm glad I took a chance with him and I wouldn't trade this Bull for any other man. We graduated high school together but our paths never crossed until our recent 50th reunion. We started bowling together and have been a couple ever since. Neither of us has marriage in mind at our age but we plan to enjoy our "Summer of 69" together. He's a man of many talents and just like in the Hallmark movies he baked me cookies and brought me homemade maple syrup on our first date. We refer to this stage as the final chapter in our life.

I'm a Sag woman, and I've dated many different signs...I'm "dating" my first Taurus right now. I say "dating" because it's so much more than that. We knew the moment we met that we had to pursue a life together, and it gets better every day. Yes, he's a total homebody, and yes I love my freedom, but he knows I'm trustworthy so he doesn't stifle me or have a problem with me spending time with my friends. He takes me fishing and on random drives/adventures, and I love binge-watching our favorite shows/movies, or sitting around while we both play our Nintendo Switches. In fact, against all odds, he proposed to me and I actually said yes (we're in our thirties, and I never wanted to get married...let alone thought I'd meet somebody I'd even consider spending the rest of my life with.) He's communicable, thoughtful, quick-witted, and although I never saw a Taurus as a desirable sign, now that we've began building a life together, I can't think of a person better suited for me!
